IAS officer V Lalithalakshmi has been given rank of Joint Secretary at the Centre.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of IAS officer V Lalithalakshmi at Joint Secretary / Joint Secretary equivalent level.
A year 2008 batch IAS officer from West Bengal, V Lalithalakshmi, has been designated as Secretary, Capacity Building Commission (CBC), with additional charge of the post of CEO, Karmayogi Bharat under the Department of Personnel and Training. She will be on the position for an overall tenure of five years upto 28/02/2027.
