IAS officers Kumar Ravi Kant Singh and Ram Singh have been posted as Joint Secy at the Centre.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved appointments of IAS officers Kumar Ravi Kant Singh and Ram Singh at Joint Secretary / Joint Secretary equivalent level.
A year 2008 batch UP cadre IAS officer Kumar Ravi Kant Singh has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Military Affairs, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a combined tenure of seven years upto 01/06/2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
On the other hand a year 2008 batch IAS officer of of Andaman & Nicobar cadre Ram Singh has been designated as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs for an overall tenure of five years upto 24/05/2027.
