The President of India has effected a reshuffle of eight governors in various Indian states.
Mrs Droupadi Murmu, President of India, in a major reshuffle has effected a change of roles of the governors of several Indian states. The list includes the names of the Governors of Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Telangana, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh were changed along with the Lt Governors of Puducherry and Chandigarh.
Here is the list of newly appointed governors as follows:
Rajasthan- Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde
Telangana- Jishnu Dev Varma
Sikkim- Om Prakash Mathur
Jharkhand- Santosh Kumar Gangwar
Chhattisgarh- Ramen Deka
Meghalaya- C H Vijayashankar
Maharashtra- C.P. Radhakrishnan
