IAS Sanjeev Chopra has been assigned an additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
Following a directive issued by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) name of IAS Sanjeev Chopra has been mandated for an additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
A year 1990 batch IAS officer from Odisha cadre, Sanjeev Chopra is at present serving as Secretary, Department of Food and Public Distribution upon repatriation of present incumbent. He will be on the position till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
