The SC Bar Association welcomes its new president Kapil Sibal.
Senior lawyer Kapil Sibal has won the election and has grabbed the top position of the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association. In the election Sibal has secured 1066 votes, whereas the next contender Senior Advocate Pradeep Rai could get only 689 votes.
The third position was with the incumbent President Senior Advocate Dr Adish C Aggarwala who secured 296 votes. Kapil Sibal had last served as the president of SCBA in the year 2001-02.
