The EC has ordered Andhra DGP to opt for an action against an SP.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) directs DGP of AP Harish Kumar Gupta to initiate action against Nandyal S P Raghuveer Redd. Reddy has allegedly failed to enforce the Model Code of Conduct in Nandyal constituency.
A departmental investigation against Raghuveer Reddy, SDPO, Ravindranth Reddy, and CI Raja Reddy has been ordered by the EC.
The angry EC has asked the DGP to report actions taken against these three police officials by 7 PM today.
