Gracing and addressing the 22nd convocation of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) in the Capital today President Droupadi Murmu says so on May 10, 2024.
This can be considered as a historical verdict in a simple statement form by a President of India. This certainly underlines the importance of golden hour in medical emergencies.
The Presidents says that the life of patients could be saved only if they receive treatment during this period, and for this specialist doctors needs to be sensitive towards emergency patients, and they should not ask an emergency patient to go somewhere else for treatment.
