Punjab Govt Refuses VRS to IAS Parampal Kaur, BJP Candidate From Bathinda
According to the Punjab government, the reason behind the non-acceptance is this that it had not waived the 3-month notice period as per the requirement under Rule 16(2) for IAS Kaur.
A notice was issued on May 7, by the government of Punjab, asking IAS officer Parampal Kaur (2011 batch) to get back to her office of duties. On the other hand the union government had accepted her resignation plea under Section 3 related to the All India Service rules.
Not only this, the Punjab government has also threatened IAS Kaur that a “disciplinary actions,” might be taken against her if she ignores the state order.
