This is estimated as the largest ever global delegation which is to witness India’s General Election 2024.
The tradition of the ECI fosters a culture of transparency reiterating its commitment to high standards of electoral practices amidst the nations belonging to democratic establishments. As many as 75 delegates representing twenty three countries from around the world are in India to witness the Indian General Elections. This is a part of the International Election Visitors’ Programme (IEVP).
The event was graced with the presence of Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar (Retd IAS: 1984: JH) along with the ECs Sukhbir Singh Sandhu (Retd IAS: 1988: UK) and Gyanesh Kumar (Retd IAS: 1988: KL) at New Delhi.
