IPS Gyaneshwar Singh is no more serving on the post of CVO, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
In a recent administrative development at the state, the MHA has removed IPS Gyaneshwar Singh from the Post of CVO of the NCB.
As per the clarification by other top officials at the NCB, IPS Gyaneshwar Singh had led the vigilance inquiry into allegations made by a witness against Sameer Wankhede, NCB Mumbai Zonal Director. Following that IPS Singh has been booted out of office after allegations of dereliction of duty and misconduct surfaced.
The controversial bureaucrat, IPS Gyaneshwar Singh hails from 1999 batch. Now the Ministry of Home Affairs has removed IPS from the designation of the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO).
