IPS officer Anurag Kumar has been appointed as the new Joint Director in Central Bureau of Investigation.
Following the recent notification from the Secretariat of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training), IPS officer Anurag Kumar has been mandated to be posted as the new Joint Director in Central Bureau of Investigation.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of
Department of Personnel and Training for Induction of IPS Anurag Kumar, IPS
(AM:2004) to the post of Joint Director in CBI. Year 2004 batch IPS officer Kumar has been appointed on lateral shift basis from BPR&D.
Kumar has been allotted a combined tenure of five years i.e. upto 24.02.2027.
