In a recent notification issued by the competent authority, IPS officer Love Kumar has been made IG in pecial Protection Group (SPG) for the next two years.
A year 2004 batch IPS officer Love Kumar hails from Uttar Pradesh cadre. Love Kumar is at present serving as as the DIG of Special Protection Group.
The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC), giving a nod to the proposal of the Office of Secretary (Security), has appointed IPS Love Kumar as the IG in SPG.
