IRS officers Gulzar N and Siddharth Mahajan will be seen in Joint Secretary role now.
As per the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Jt Secy level appointment has been entrusted to IRS officers Gulzar N and Siddharth Mahajanand with pay at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix.
Year 2003 batch IRS officer Siddharth Mahajan has been posted as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, from the date of assumption of charge of the post. He will be serving for an overall tenure of three years upto 07/11/2024, extendable for a combined tenure of seven years upto 07/11/2028 subject to availability of Cadre Clearance, or until further orders.
Simultaneously, IRS Gulzar N, IAS (AP:1999) has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Food & Public Distribution. He will be serving from the date of assumption of charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
