IRS officers Deepankar Aron & Harish Kumar Vashisth have been given Joint Secretary level appointment by the Center.
As per the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Jt Secy level appointment has been entrusted to IRS officers Deepankar Aron and Harish Kumar Vashisth with pay at Level 14 of the Pay Matrix.
Year 1996 batch IRS officer Deepankar Aron will assume office as Joint Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals for a tenure of five years or until further orders.
On the other hand, year 2001 IRS officer Harish Kumar Vashisth is going to take charge as Joint DG, Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation. He will be serving for a tenure of five years or until further
orders, whichever is earlier.
