The officer belongs to the 2003 batch of Uttarakhand cadreIAS officer Dilip Jawalkar has been assigned the new responsibility as Home Secretary in the state of Uttarakhand.
Ahead of the Lok Sabha Polls, the Government of Uttarakhand has appointed IAS officer Dilip Jawalkar as the Home Secretary of the state with due approval of the Election Commission.
Earlier the Election Commission of India (ECI) had directed the removal of year 2002 batch Uttarakhand IAS Shailesh Bagauli. Baguli was serving as the Home Secretary of Uttarakhand. Five other states’ Home Secretaries have also been removed.
Dilip Jawalkar was currently serving as Secretary of Finance. Now he is to assume office as the Home Secretary of Uttarakhand.
