Senior IPS officer Anurag Agarwal has been posted as Joint Secy, Security, in Lok Sabha Secretariat.
Year 1998 batch Indian Police Services officer Anurag Agarwal belongs to the Assam-Meghalaya cadre. Anurag Agarwal was currently serving as the Inspector General of the Central Reserve Police Force’s (CRPF) Northeast Sector, in Shillong.
Now after the new directive, IPS Aggrawal has been appointed as Joint Secretary (Security). On deputation he has been given a term of three years in the Lok Sabha Secretariat.
From the date of assumption of charge he will continue working on the position for three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
