IPS officer J Mahesh has been posted in newly formed Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS), as DIG in the state of Tamil Nadu.
The Tamil Nadu government has announced names of 383 police personnel in the newly formed Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) which was established in November 2023. The announcement was made by the CM Stalin during the Budget Session in the state Assembly.
Year 2020 batch IPS officer J Mahesh originally belongs to Kerela cadre. He was currently serving as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Intelligence (Internal Security). Now Mahesh has been given additional charge as DIG, ATS, Tamil Nadu.
