year 2016 batch IPS officer, Sharath Chandra Pawar was currently serving as the deputy commissioner of police (DCP) for Central Zone, Hyderabad. Now Pawar is going to assume charge as the new superintendent of police (SP) in the Anti-Narcotics Bureau (ACB), Telangana.
Simultaneously, year 2005 batch IPS officer, P Viswa Prasad The additional commissioner of Hyderabad Traffic, Officer P. Vishwa Prasad (2005 batch IPS), was mandated to assume office as the new Inspector-General (IG) of the city police.
