IAS Charanjit Singh has been given extension in upgradation for his post.
As per the recent notification from the Secretariat of the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, IAS Charanjit Singh will continue in the upgraded role from the level of Joint Secretary to that of Additional Secretary for eight more months now.
Year 1990 batch of Indian Administrative Services officer from MP Cadre, IAS Charanjit Singh is presently holding the position of Additional Secretary in Department of Rural Development.
IAS Singh was earlier serving as the Joint Secretary in the department of Rural Development. He will now continue working on the extended position until December 31, 2024.
