Six IPS officers have been appointed as Deputy Inspector General in CBI.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) welcomes six new DIGs. One of the IPS officers has been posted as Deputy Inspector General whereas the five others serving as SP have been elevated as DIG.
The names of the officers now appointed as DIGs are as follows.
Sumedha (IPS: 2005: HP) has been inducted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in the CBI for a period of five years.
Dr Gagandeep Singhla (IPS: 2020: RJ), SP, CBI, has been inducted as DIG for a period of five years up to 11.01. 2029.
K Siva Subramani (IPS: 2010: OD), SP, CBI, has been appointed as DIG for a period up to 28.11.2026.
Dhurat Saayali Savlaram (IPS: 2010: BH), SP, CBI has been appointed as DIG for a period up to 26.10.2027.
Rajeev (IPS: 2010: AM), SP CBI, has been appointed as DIG for a period up to 10.10.2027.
P Murugan (IPS: 2010: JH), SP CBI, has been appointed as DIG for a period up to 16.03.2025. Jai Singh Meena (IPS: 2010: TR), SP CBI, has been appointed as DIG for a period up to 18.07.2026.
