IAS Varnali Deka has won National Awards for work in ODOP Mushroom & Education Sectors in Assam.
IAS Varnali Deka is posted as DC Nalbari in Assam. She has won two national awards from Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad.
Under Awarding Innovations in Public Services, IAS Deka has been awarded for her work in ODOP Mushroom and Education sectors in Kokrajhar.
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has distributed IAS Deka both the awards at Taj Vivanta in Shillong. The awards includes a cash component of Rs. 2 lakh and a memento as well.
Varnali Deka also participated as a panelist in two sessions – Rural Development and Environment Education– in the event.
