IAS Maheshwar Rao M has been entrusted the responsibility as the new MD of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).
Year 1995 batch Indian Administrative Services officer Maheshwar Rao M has been assigned the position of Managing Director (MD) of the BMRCL.
Rao will replace Anjum Parwez, who was currently serving in the position for more than two years. IAS Parwez will continue serving as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department.
The appointment of IAS Rao has received approval from the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, which shares governance in BMRCL equally.
