Vice Admiral, Indian Navy, Dinesh K Tripathi, AVSM, has taken over as Vice Chief of the Naval Staff.
Vice Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi (AVSM, NM) has been promoted to the position of Vice Chief of the Naval Staff on January 04, 2024.
While taking over, the Flag Officer first paid homage to the Indian soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in service of the motherland. Tripathi placed a floral wreath at the National War Memorial.
Before taking over as Vice Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi was serving as the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief in Western Naval Command.
A Rewa Sainik School and National Defence Academy Khadakwasla, alumnus, Tripathi was commissioned into the Indian Navy thirty eight years ago on July 01, 1985.
