Over 25 IRS officers have been empaneled for holding Director General and Chief Commissioner rank posts (Level 16 of the Pay Matrix) which is under the CBIC (Central Board of Indirect Taxes & Customs) for the panel year 2023 as well as 2024.

The list of officers empaneled for the Panel year 2024 under Regular Panel (2024) includes Mayank Kumar, Madan Mohan Singh, Shrawan Kumar, L Satya Srinivas, Arti A. Srinivas, Charul Baranwal, M Subramaniam, Madhur Sreedhar Reddy, Sanjay Rathi, Nitish Kumar Sinha, Balbir Singh Khattra, Milind Gawai, M Shrihari Rao, Jagreeti Sain Negi and Nirmal Kumar Soren.
Under the extended Panel (2024) category the names include K Ashi Khieya, Abhai Kumar Srivastav, SK Vimalanathan, Vimal Kumar Srivastava and Pranesh Pathak.
The Department of Revenue (Ministry of Finance) in its order underlines that DPC recommendations in for Ganesh Hanavur in ‘sealed cover’ has been kept in abeyance for the panel year 2024. junior-most officer promotion in the panel for 2024 will be on ‘ad-hoc’ basis till further order.
