Govt has also agreed on changing the definition of micro, small and medium industries in the cabinet. Also, the Equit Scheme for MSME has also received cabinet approval. Prakash Javadekar said that an equity investment of Rs 50,000 crore has been announced for MSMEs. In this, these companies can raise money by listing in the market. There are more than 60 million MSMEs across the country. After the coronavirus epidemic, PM Modi, considering the importance of this sector, has decided to allocate for MSMEs.
