16 officers appointed as Additional Secretary or equivalent in the Govt of India

As many as 16 officers have been appointed as Additional Secretary or equivalent in the Govt of India. The officers are:

1. Rakesh Sarwal, IAS (TR:88), Additional Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development appointed as Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog.
2. S. Kishore, IAS (WB:89), presently in the Cadre appointed as Additional Secretary Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
3. Devendra Kumar Singh, IAS (KL:89), presently in the Cadre, appointed as Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
4. Katikithala Srinivas, IAS (GJ:89), Additional Secretary, Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions appointed as Additional Secretary and Establishment Officer, Department of Personnel and Training vice  Pradip Kumar Tripathi, IAS (JK:87) upon his appointment as Secretary, Ministry of Steel.
5. Ms. Arti Ahuja, IAS (OR:90), Special Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Department of Personnel and Training appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare.
6. Alok Kumar, IAS (TR:90), presently in the Cadre, appointed as Additional Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat (SR).
7. Ms. Nivedita Shukla Verma, IAS (UP:91), presently in the Cadre, appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence.
8. Ms. V. Vidyavathi, IAS (KN:91), presently in the Cadre, appointed as Director General, Archaeological Survey of India, Ministry of Culture in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to Government of India.
9. Rajendra Kumar, IAS (TN:92), presently in the Cadre, appointed as Director General, Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Ministry of Labour & Employment in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to Government of India.
10. Rakesh Ranjan, IAS (MN:92), presently in the Cadre, appointed as Additional Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development Rakesh Sarwal, IAS (TR:88) upon his appointment as Additional Secretary, NITI Aayog.
11. Anil Kumar Nayak, IOFS (86), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Mines appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Posts.
12. Aniruddha Kumar, IRS:IT (87), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
13. Subir Mallick, IA&AS (89), Additional Financial Advisor and Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence (Finance) appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Agricultural Research and Education.
14. Shiv Das Meena, IAS (TN:89),Additional Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs appointed as Chairman, Central Pollution Control Board, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to Government of India.
15. Manoj Ahuja, IAS (OR:90),Special Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Department of Personnel and Training appointed as Chairman, Central Board of Secondary Education in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to Government of India by
    temporarily upgrading the post.
16. Anurag Jain, IAS (MP:89), presently in the Cadre, appointed as Vice Chairman, Delhi Development Authority, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to Government of India.
