Eight new appointments of PS’s and OSD’s have been cancelled in compliance with the directives issued by the Prime Minister Office. The Union Ministers who will suffer the pain of losing their choices are:
- Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister
- Kiren Rijiju, MoS in the Ministry of Home Affairs
- Nazma Heptullah, Union Minister of Minority Affairs
- A Gajapati Raju, Union Minister of Civil Aviation
- Ravi Shankar Prasad, Union Minister of Information & Technology & Ministry of Law & Justice
- Smriti Irani, Union Minister of HRD
- G M Siddheshwar, MoS in Ministry of Civil Aviation
