Delhi CBI anti-corruption arrested IRS officer Sansar Chand

Delhi CBI Anti-corruption unit arrested 1986 batch IRS officer Sansar Chand (commissioner GST & central excise Kanpur) along with his office staff and four other GST superintendents posted in Kanpur on the intervening night from different locations. Sansar’s wife is also accused in the FIR but has not been arrested yet. Four private persons including director of Shishu soaps & chemicals have also been arrested for offering bribe to senior IRS officials. Total nine arrested.
