As many as eight officers belonging to Indian Administrative Services have been transferred and posted in West Bengal. The officers are:
- Dr. Krishna Gupta appointed as Principal Resident Commissioner.
- Puneet Yadav appointed as Additional Director General, Administrative Training Institute.
- Gopal Krishna appointed as Director General, ATI.
- Rajesh KUmar Sinha appointed as Secretary, Agricultural Marketing and also given addl charge as Secretary, Mass Education Extension and Library Services and Secretary, Labour.
- Indevar Pandey appointed as Principal Secretary, Public Works and also given the addl charge as Managing Director, WHDC and Advisor Industries.
- Sharad Kumar Dwivedi appointed as District Magistrate in South Dinajpur.
- Kanwaljeet Singh Cheema appointed as Managing Director in West Bengal Warehousing Corporation and ex-officio Secretary, Food & Supplies.
- Ms. Smita Pandey appointed as Joint Secretary in Consumer Affairs.
