The Department of Personnel and Training(DoPT) is reportedly investigating 39 IAS officers for their alleged involvement in corruption and other irregularities. Besides these officers, 29 Central Secretariat Service officers are also facing disciplinary proceedings. Inquiries were initiated on the basis of complaints against them and after reviewing their service records. Some of them are said to be working at senior levels.
