As many as 9 officers of 1991 batch of Indian Forest Service(IFS) have been empanelled for the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent in the Govt of India. The officers are: C. Suvarna of AP cadre; Jai Pal Singh of Gujarat cadre; Pankaj Aggarwal, Dhirendra Bhargava, Shiv Prasad Sharma of MP cadre; Rakesh Kumar Dogra of Tamil Nadu cadre; Biswajit Banerjee of UP cadre; Piar Chand & Sandeep Sundriyal of West Bengal cadre.
