We can expect development like Gujarat in Uttar Pradesh now. If sources are to be believed, two Gujarat cadre IAS officers are set to join at Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Secretariat at pancham tal annexe soon.
Alok Kumar Pandey ( IAS 2006 batch, Gujarat cadre) who is currently posted as Collector in District Mehsana and Hareet Shukla ( IAS 1999 batch, Gujarat cadre), currently posted as Joint Secretary in Revenue Sachivalaya Gandhinagar, their names have been finalised to assist CM Yogi in Lucknow. Sources says, a senior officer at PMO has recently conveyed this message to CM Yogi Aditynath in this regard.
Interestingly both these officers have a Uttar Pradesh back ground. Mr. Alok Kumar Pandey belongs to village Katka, Khanpur in Sultanpur district and Mr. Hareet Shukla’s native place is in Allahabad.
When contacted, Mr. Hareet Shukla denied to comment on this development.
