Rajiv Kumar, the 1981-batch IAS officer, is likely to join as the new Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh.
If sources are to be believed the process about his appointment are expected to be completed on Tuesday when Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visits the national capital. Rajiv Kumar, currently the Secretary in Shipping department of government of India, commands a clean image and was principal Secretary of Rural Development in UP before moving to the Centre. His name was in news ever since saffron party came to power in Uttar Pradesh.
