The Additional Chief Secretary, Sadakant Shukla has shot off a letter to UP Housing Commissioner, Vice Chairmen of Development Authorities and chiefs of Special Area Development Authorities directing them to avoid finalising new tenders, new sanctions and careful about payments.
What is striking feature of the letter is the ‘confessional’ tone in which the top officer of Housing department has asked the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) to do away with ‘ old work culture’ and exercise utmost ‘precaution’.
