The Ministry of Home Affairs has appointed three IPS officers in the rank of Spacial Director General. The officers are:
Shri Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar, IPS (UP:80) working as Director, NCB on ‘in-situ’ basis w.e.t 26.09.2016 (i.e the date on which Shri Sudhir Pratap Singh, IPS(RJ:83) assumed the charge of the post of DG, NSG) and up to the date of his superannuation on 31.12.2019 or until further
orders, whichever is earlier; and
Shri A. K. Patnaik, IPS (GJ:S3) working as CEO, NATGRID on ‘in-situ’ basis w.e.t. 26.09.2016 (i.e. the date on which Shri Sudhir Pratap Singh, IPS(RJ:83) assumed the charge of the post of DG, NSG) and up to the date of his superannuation on 31.12.2018 or until further
orders, whichever is earlier; and
Smt. Rina Mitra, IPS(MP:83) working as Addl. DG, BSF against existing vacancy w.e.t 26.09.2016 (i.e the date on which Shri Sudhir Pratap Singh. IPS(RJ:83) assumed the charge of the post of DG, NSG) and up to the date of her superannuation on
31.01.2019 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
