The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following proposals of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas:
(i) ex-post facto regularization of the period of additional charge of the post of Director (R&D), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCl) held by B. Ashok, Chairman, IOCl w.e.f. 01.07.2015 to 31.12.2015; and
(ii) extension of additional charge of the post to B. Ashok, Chairman, IOCl for a further period of six months w.e.f. 01.01.2016 till 30.06.2016, or till the appointment of a regular incumbent to the post, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
