Senior IAS officer Ashok Singhvi and two other officers of the Mines Department who were arrested and remanded to police custody in a case of alleged bribery involving Rs 2.55 crore has been suspended by the Rajasthan Government.The suspension orders were issued by the Department of Personnel of the state government.
Additional Director, Mines (HQ), Udaipur Pankaj Gehlot and Senior Mining Engineer of Bhilwara P R Ameta were also suspended on the same ground. Meanwhile, Principal Secretary, Cooperative Department Deepak Upreti was given the additional charge of the Mines Department.
