J Manjula first woman has been appointed as Director General of DRDO, Electronics & Communication Systems cluster. She has assumed charge from distinguished scientist and Director General Dr K D Nayak, who was holding Additional charge as Director General Electronic & Communication Systems, DRDO.
She will be one of the seven DG’s, who are heading different clusters within the DRDO, which has nearly 50 national laboratories and Institutes under its network.
