The retired IAS officer Ramanath Jha has been appointed as the Chairman of the Mumbai Heritage Conservation Committee. Jha, who was commissioner of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), had retired voluntarily before he could become chief secretary. He is also a supervising officer for the revision of the draft Development Plan (DP).
