The 1980 batch Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer of cadre Himachal Pradesh cadre, Dr. S. S. Negi has been appointed as Director General & Special Secretary in Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate change. He will succeed S. S. Gabryal (IFoS, UT:77) consequent his retirement on 31 July 2015.
