The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested two absconding accused in connection with the investigation of two cases for causing loss of Rs.22 crore(approx) to Punjab National Bank.
CBI registered two cases on the allegations of defrauding the Punjab National Bank of Rs.22 crores (approx) in the matter of sanction & disbursal of various credit facilities in the names of several non-existing firms/persons by submitting false & fabricated documents. The accused persons were absconding since last one & half years. CBI made concerted & meticulous efforts and nabbed the accued persons.
Both the arrested persons were produced before the Special Judge for CBI Cases, Bangalore and remanded to police custody for 3 days.
