The 1991 batch IAS officer of Jammu & Kashmir cadre, Shant Manu has been appointed as Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Jammu and Kashmir. The order further states that ‘ Shantmanu, (IAS) shall also be the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Incharge of Election Department.
