Lagos: At least 60 people were killed and over 100 others injured in twin explosions in Nigeria.
According to the police, the incident took place in the town of Mubi in Adamawa on Tuesday in and around a mosque where Muslims had gathered for afternoon prayers.
The police said the first blast took place inside the mosque, while the second bomber detonated a device near a clothes market outside the same mosque.
The town suffered attacks just a day after Muhammadu Buhari and Donald Trump held talks at the White House about the security challenges the country faces, which included the decade long insurgency by Boko Haram terrorists.
Earlier, the suicide bombers killed four people in Maiduguri, Borno State.
