Four Pondicherry officers have been inducted into IAS, Strengthening AGMUT Cadre.
In a significant development, four officers from the Pondicherry Civil Service have been inducted into the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), enhancing the strength of the AGMUT cadre. The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions announced the appointments of P. Priytarshny, Y.L.N. Reddy, L. Mohamed Mansoor, and P.T. Rudra Goud on April 8.
According to the official notification, the President has approved their elevation to the IAS against existing vacancies identified by the Government of India. With their induction, the officers will now serve under the joint AGMUT cadre, which covers Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram, and all Union Territories.
On Wednesday, the newly appointed IAS officers paid a courtesy visit to Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan and Chief Minister N. Rangasamy.
