Uttar Pradesh is going to get additional 25 IPS officers today. A DPC for including 1989 and 1990 batch PPS officers in IPS cadre is going on at UPSC in Delhi. Principal Secretary ( Home) Mr. Debashish Panda who is attending this meeting has told NBSB that 25 officers will be included to IPS Cadre. Apart from him, DGP Javeed Ahmed and ADG personnel PC Meena has also reached to Delhi. Chief Secretary Mr. Rahul Bhatnagar has also gone todays morning to attend this meeting. There are 7 PPS officers from 1989 batch who are left to be promoted as IPS, rest officers are from 1990 batch.
