Subhash Chandra Dubey a 2005 batch IPS officer, UP cadre, who was under suspension in the wake of Saharanpur riots and was attached with DGP headquarters has now been reinstated.
The Yogi Adityanath government, on 24 May, had suspended Saharanpur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Subhash Chandra Dubey and District Magistrate (DM) N.P. Singh for “failing to control the situation in Saharanpur”
Though later on IPS officers working in Uttar Pradesh had dejected over the suspension of Dubey without, what they believe, proper assessment of the facts by the state government. Dubey is considered to be an upright and honest police officer. Subhash Chandra Dubey has confirmed NBSB about this order though his new posting is still has to be decided!!
NBSB wishes him all the best!!
In between if sources are to be believed NP Singh, 2009 batch UP cadre IAS officer who was under suspension in same Saharanpur riots matter has also been reinstated.
