As many as twenty State Police Officials are to be promoted into the IPS, in the state of Kerala.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently convened a meeting with the Central Government representatives where Kerala’s police Chief, Home Secretary and Chief Secretary, were also present.
In the meeting it was announced that a total number of twenty state service police officers will be promoted into the IPS rank. These cops will join the select lists of 2021 and 2022 of the Indian Police Service (IPS).
The list presented by the Kerala government includes names of sixty eligible officers, out of whom twenty will be made promotee IPS officers.
