18 IAS officer of 1982 batch cadre appointed as Special Secretary

As many as 18 officers belonging to Indian Administrative Service (IAS) have been appointed as Special Secretary in the Government of India. Accordingly,

1. Ms. Aruna Sundararajan (Kerala cadre) as Administrator, Universal Service Obligation Fund under the Department of Telecommunication, Ministry of Telecommunication & Information Technology.
2. Neeraj Kumar Gupta (UP cadre) as Secretary in the Board of Reconstruction of Public Sector Enterprises under the Department of Public Enterprises.
3. Avinash K. Srivastava (UP cadre) as Special Secretary in the Department  of Agriculture Cooperation & Farmer Welfare.
4. Amarjeet Singh (Gujarat cadre) as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation.
5. Rashmi Verma (Bihar cadre) as Special Secretary in the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
6. Jitendra Shankar Mathur (Madhya Pradesh cadre) as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting.
7. Navin Verma (Bihar cadre) as Special Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat.
8. Dinesh Singh (Uttar Pradesh cadre) as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation.
9. Ramesh Abhishek (Bihar cadre) as Chairman, Forward Markets Commission.
10. Krishan Kumar Jalan (Haryana cadre) as Central Provident Fund Commissioner in Employees , Provident Fund Organisation under the Ministry of Labour & Employment.
11. Ajay Narayan Jha (Manipur cadre) as Special Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance.
12. Prabhas Kumar Jha (Uttar Pradesh cadre) as Special Secretary & Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Food & Public Distribution.
13. G. Gurucharan (Karnataka cadre) as Special Secretary, Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution.
14. Ms. Leena Nair (Tamil Nadu cadre) as Chairperson in Marine Products Exports Development Authority under the Department of Commerce.
15. Hem Kumar Pande (West Bengal cadre) as Special Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate change.
16. Jai Priye Prakash (Assam-Meghalaya cadre) as Special Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat.
17. M. M. Sathiyavathi (UT cadre) as Director General of Civil Aviation.
18. C. B. Venkataramana ( Telangana cadre) as Special Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy.
