16 officers appointed in the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent in the Govt of India

As many as 16 officers have been appointed in the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent in the Govt of India. The officers are:

1. C. Sridhar, IAS(BH:2001), currently serving as Deputy Director in LBSNAA, Mussoorie, appointed as Joint Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, on lateral shift basis, for an overall tenure of 7 years upto 4.08.2022 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
2. Ms. Alaknanda Dayal, IAS (P8:2000), appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare.
3. Ms. Pallavi Agarwal, IRS (lT:1991), appointed as Member Secretary, National Monuments Authority, Ministry of Culture vice Navneet Soni, IRS (lT:1988) consequent on completion of his tenure on 07.06.2020.
4. Surendra Prasad Yadav, IFoS (WB:1996) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence Production vice Vijayendra, IAS (AM:1991).
5. Ms. V. Radha, lAS (MH:1994), appointed as Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of DS/Dir in the Department vice Rajeev Kandpal, IP&TA&FS(1995).
6. Manish Tiwari, IRTS(1995), appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs.
7. Vijay Kumar Singh, ICAS(1995), appointed as Member (Finance), Delhi Development Authority (DDA) under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, vice K. Vinayak Rao, IRAS (1987).
8. Ateesh Kumar Singh, IRTS(1994), appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of Joint Development Commissioner in the O/o Development Commissioner (MSME), initially for a period of two years.
9. Anupam Mishra, IES (1995), appointed as JS(A&F), Development Monitoring & Evaluation Office (DMEO), NITI Aayog.
10. Ms. Vinod Kotwal, IP&TA&FS (1994), appointed as Member Secretary, National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), under the Department of Pharmaceuticals vice Ms. Ritu Dhillon, IA&AS (1995).
11. Ghanshyam Prasad, CPES (1989), appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power vice  Aniruddha Kumar IRS (IT:1987).
12. Ms. Himabindu Mudumbai, IA&AS (1999), appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Revenue vice Sanjiv Kumar, IAS (UT:1992).
13. Vipin Kumar, IAS (BH:1996) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy,vice Sachin Sinha, IAS (MP:1995).
14. Sunil Kumar, IFoS (PB:1999), appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Science & Technology by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of DS/Dir in the Department vice Rajesh Kumar, CPES (2001), initially for a period of two years.
15. Ms. R. Jaya, lAS (TN:1995), appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
16. Ms. Roop Rashi, IA&AS (1994), appointed as Textile Commissioner, Mumbai under the Ministry of Textiles vice Sanjay A. Chahande, IAS (MH:88).
