14 officers appointed as Joint Secretary or equivalent, Govt of India

As many as 14 officers have been appointed to the post of Joint Secretary or Joint Secretary equivalent in the Govt of India. The officers:

1. Ms Geeta Narayan, CSS, appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Health Research, vice V K Gauba, CSS.
2. Ms. Rupali Banerjee, CSS, appointed as Member Secretary, NCPCR under the Ministry of Women and Child Development vice Ms Geeta Narayan, CSS.
3. Sagar Chand Mehra, CSS, appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Fisheries.
4. Ms. Rubina Ali, CSS, appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation vice Arun Kumar, IAS(HY:89).
5. Ms. T.C.A. Kalyani, ICAS (1991), appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting vice Manoj Pingua, IAS (CG:1994).
6. Sanjay Pandey, ICAS (1994), appointed as Joint Secretary & FA, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment vice Ms T.CA Kalyani, ICAS (1991).
7. Ms P. Amudha, lAS (TN:1994), appointed as Professor (Public Administration), LBSNAA under the Department of Personnel and Training vice Rajesh Arya.
8. Shantanu, IAS (TR:1997), appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Defence Production vice Sanjay Prasad, IAS (UP: 1995).
9. Umakant, IFoS (UT:1996 ), appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Land Resources vice Shri Sushil Kumar Singla, IFoS(1994). The appointment of J. Takpa, IFoS(J&K:90), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change against ibid vacancy of Joint Secretary in D/o Land Resources vice Sushil Kumar Singla, IFoS(HP:1994), vide DOPT order No.33/3/2019-EO(SM-I) dated 22.01.2019 is cancelled.
10. Ajay Goyal, IRS (IT)(1990), appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs.
11. Ms. R. Jaya, IAS(TN :95), apppointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training Lok Ranjan, IAS (TR:S9).
12. Jogiranjan Panigrahi, IRS (C&CE)(1990), appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles vice Shri Atul Tiwari, IAS(KN:90).
13. Ms. Sandhya Venugopal Sharma, IAS (TN:95), appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Space,  S. Kumaraswamy, IAS (AGMUT:91) consequent to his premature repatriation w.e.f 01.04.2019.
14. Ms. Vijaylakshmi P. Bidari, IAS (MH:01), as Controller, URSC, Department of Space, vice Ms Sandhya Venugopal Sharma IAS (TN:95). Ms. Vijaylakshmi P. Sidari, IAS (MH:01) will hold additional charge of the post of Regional Director, SSE, Bengaluru till the appointment of the regular incumbent.
